How to use your Ledger Nano S with the PLC Ultima app

Introduction

Ledger Device is a hardware wallet that is considered one of the most secure ways to store your digital assets. Ledger uses a standalone or “cold” storage method to create private keys, making it the preferred method for many crypto users.

This guide will help you use the Ledger Nano S device with the PLC Ultima Wallet. The PLC Ultima Wallet allows you to store, send and receive PLCU coins.

Before you begin, make sure that

• You have initialized your Ledger Nano S device.
• You have installed the latest firmware (Ledger Nano S).
• Ledger Live is ready to use.

Installing PLC Ultima

1. Open the Ledger Live Manager.
2. Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
3. When prompted, follow the on-screen instructions and select "Allow Ledger Manager".
4. Find PLC Ultima in the app directory.
5. Click on the Install button.
   1. You’ll see the installation window.
   2. Your device will display the message: "Processing..."
   3. The app installation will be confirmed.
6. Close Ledger Live.

Connecting to PLCULTIMA.INFO

1. Start by connecting and unlocking your Ledger Nano S device.
2. Open the PLC Ultima app on your Ledger device.
3. Open the PLC Ultima block explorer https://plcultima.info/en/
4. Click on Connect Wallet.
5. At the bottom of the window, click on Connect.
6. Make sure that the address in the wallet is correct and corresponds to the address on your Ledger device. To view the full address, click on the right button.
7. Confirm the connection by clicking on both buttons at once.
8. The window will display wallet address on your Ledger Nano S device and an Open Wallet button. Make sure that the address matches the address indicated in step 6.
9. Click on Open Wallet to visit the next page, which will display information about your wallet and making transactions.

Viewing your wallet details

• The address of your connected wallet and the number of transactions are located in the summary block.
• The balance of your wallet is located in the statistics block.

Receiving PLCU to your address

1. Make sure you have confirmed your withdrawal address as shown in steps 6 and 8 of "Connecting to PLCULTIMA.INFO".
2. You can get your withdrawal address simply by copying the address to the clipboard or by scanning the QR code.
3. After you send PLCU coins from another wallet, you will see them in your transaction history and your PLCU balance will be updated.

Sending PLCU

1. On the Connected Wallet page, click on Create Transaction.
2. Indicate the recipient address and the transfer amount. Check the amount you are sending and the transaction fee, and then click on "Send".
3. Review and sign the transaction on your Ledger device. Press the right button on the Ledger device to view the transaction details (amount and address) and confirm them. You will then see "Accept and Send".
4. Press both buttons on the Ledger device to sign the transaction.
5. After you sign the transaction on the Ledger device, a popup will appear indicating that the transaction was successful.
